Welcome to my pottery website. I have been a potter and a sculptor for many years. I began my career as a sculptor and studied in New York City at the Sculpture Center. I had some success as a sculptor and have participated and sold my work in shows at the Sculpture Center and Galleries throughout the New York City and Philadelphia metropolitan areas. All was going quite well, but I was becoming restless and wanted to try something different; that's when I started to play with clay. I obtained a standup kick wheel, which I still have and use to this day. With this wheel, some clay and glazing materials my pottery making career was launched. I studied for a short time under the tutelage of the late Rudy Staffel and have been trying to gain some semblance of his throwing expertise ever since, but to no avail; however, I'll keep on trying.
